Tanya Zuckerbrot

Dietitian & Creator of the F-Factor Diet

Tanya Zuckerbrot, MS, RD, is the creator of the popular F-Factor Diet (, the only dietitian-created program for weight-loss and optimal health that is based on fiber-rich nutrition. She works in private practice in Manhattan. The F-Factor Diet evolved from Tanya’s years working with patients to help lower cholesterol or control diabetes. She found that all of her patients improved their clinical conditions – and lost weight without hunger– by following a lifestyle diet that was rich in dietary fiber.


In 2006 Tanya published The F-Factor Diet: Discover the Secret to Permanent Weight Loss (Putnam, 2006), which was a national bestseller. In December 2012, she will publish her second book, The Miracle Carb Diet: Make Calories and Fat Disappear the F-Factor Way – with fiber (Hyperion -Disney/ABC). In 2011, Tanya introduced F-Factor high fiber cereals and bars in partnership with Hain Celestial Group. She is the first registered dietitian to have her own line of grocery products in national distribution. The F-Factor brand will expand with the addition of more high-fiber foods, beverages and neutraceuticals.


Tanya frequently appears on national television, most recently: ABC Live with Kelly; The Dr. Oz Show; NBC Today Show; CBS Early Show; ABC The View; Rachael Ray; ABC Good Morning America; CBS Evening News; and Fox/The O’Reilly Factor; Telemundo. Tanya is a nutrition news contributor to Fox News Channel and writes the network’s nutrition blog. She also writes for KeyVive (diabetes lifestyle), Fox iMag,, and Huffington Post. Tanya serves on the Advisory Board for Women’s Health magazine (Rodale), and she the Official Dietitian to the Miss Universe Organization (Miss Universe, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA). Tanya holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Food Studies from New York University and completed a two-year dietetic internship at NYU Medical Center. She is an accredited member of the American Dietetic Association, the Greater New York Dietetic Association, and a member of the National Association of Professional Women. In July 2012 Tanya completed her CDR Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management as well as her CDR Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.

Robin Barrie Kaiden, MS, RD, CDN, CSSD Robin has been successfully assisting clients in meeting their personal wellness, nutrition, weight loss, and exercise needs for over a decade. She focuses on creating individualized plans to ensure diet and fitness goals are achieved and maintained for a lifetime. Robin practices private Nutrition Counseling at her Manhattan office and consults for top medical specialists and prestigious fitness centers in the tri-state area. She has been the in-house Nutritionist at Drive 495, Manhattan’s premier golf fitness club in the heart of SoHo, for the past few years. She counsels Drive 495’s fitness, golf, amateur and professional athlete members on performance enhancement eating, supplement regimens, metabolism, and body composition. Robin assists adults and children of all ages in meeting their optimal Nutrition needs and goals.


With a BS from Cornell, an MS from Columbia, 5 years of clinical hospital experience, and a board Certification as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics, Robin has established herself as an expert in the Nutrition field. She has written for and been quoted in various blogs, websites, and magazines, including,, Parenting Magazine and Golf Fitness Magazine. LJStyle was founded by Lauren J. Solomon. LJStyle is a styling and personal shopping firm based in New York City. Lauren was born and raised in New York City and lived in the bohemian chic SoHo as a child. Lauren has always looked at fashion as the most creative way to express who you are. For as long as anyone in her life can remember, Lauren has been the go to for any fashion emergency or whenever anyone needed to spice up their look. After a thriving career as a trend forecaster and style coordinator for a high end fashion line, Lauren decided to take her true passion for styling and create LJStyle.


Currently, Lauren maintains a broad range of clientele from celebrities to personal shopping clients. She believes in truly understanding her clients, their needs and helping them find ways to feel confident. Lauren has traveled the world and has an incredible eye for colors and materials and understands the immense importance both elements play in fashion and dressing oneself. Kerry Ashdown

Kerry has been living in NYC for over a year and started her fitness career sixteen years ago in London, UK. She has a Masters Degree in sports and exercise science, along with NASM and ACSM certifications. She specializes in strength conditioning, functional training, weight management, corrective exercise and core stability. Kerry’s approach to fitness is holistic—combining workouts that incorporate proper nutrition and a balanced lifestyle.


Her accomplishments include: master trainer for leading fitness brands and product innovations, and national presenter at UK fitness conventions. She has also worked alongside a leading fitness certification to get new personal trainers qualified. Kerry’s currently working on a new fitness book and has published many fitness articles over the years.
